A more rounded shape

The next time I tried it I decided to leave the shape unblocked.  It is knit in DK Silky in stripes of violet grey and pale slate.

I am a little worried it is too small but is actually no smaller than most shawlettes.  The edge looks quite neat as it is

But I am going to add a small border to complete it.

Looking at it now I can see something I would change.  I should have started every triangle with the same colour.  It shows quite clearly that 2 of the triangles were started with the pale colour and the rest in the violet.

I know this seems like a very simple mod on Wingspan but it actually took a lot of calculation since unlike Wingspan you can't just keep adding triangles until you feel like ending.  You can stop whenever you want though if you are running out of yarn.  I have so many spreadsheets working out yarn usage!
I will do my best to get the pattern ready to use soon so you can get on with it and knit a Christmas present!
